  Last week I had a problem with my clothes dryer.
  I rang my usual service man who wasn't interested in taking on the job as our dryer is wall mounted. He advised other repairers also aren't prepared to take down wall mounted dryers to service/repair them.
  His manner on the phone was very disappointing as we have been using him for over 20 years and he has previously provided prompt and excellent service and we have always paid his account promptly. I'm not sure what his situation is but he was a very different person when i spoke with him the other day.
  
  Craig, from Souhern Cross on the other hand, answered his phone promptly and true to the advertising on his website he not only provided same day service, but wasn't phased when I told him our dryer is wall mounted. He was at our home within an hour of my calling.
  
  He has been in the repair business for over 40 years and quickly identified the problem and restored our dryer to normal working order for a reasonable fee.
  
  Craig has a very pleasant personality and is able to repair a wide range of appliances.
  
  If you're looking for someone to service/repair your appliance/s promptly, without having to wait weeks for a booking give Craig a call.
  He will definitely be our first call from now on.

  First SMS left on the mobile number on 18/11/21. Then 25/11/21, then 05/12/21. Multiple voicemails left, multiple emails left but we were completely ignored. Its 16/02/2022 and still no call back. You can't complain about the service...there isn't any. Steer clear.

  We needed our oven repaired under warranty and was referred on to this company. The business owner was initially unresponsive despite my leaving voicemail messages requesting a call back. Managed to get in touch and arranged for an assessment of our oven, but he didn’t turn up on the day and did not respond to phone calls when I tried to touch base. Very disappointed in the lack of professionalism; would not recommend this service.

  Craig came to look at our broken washing machine. The callout fee was $150. He said it needed a new board and he would order one, and come back next week to install it, which he did, at a cost of $400. He turned the machine on, declared it fixed, then left while the machine was still running. Five minutes later it blew up again and I had to call him to come back, which he did immediately. He told me he'd stick to fixing ovens, refunded my $400 and left, leaving me with a still broken washing machine and advice to "buy a new one".
  
  We then took our washing machine to Barclays Appliance Centre, where they charged $50 to look at it and a further $275 to repair it (by replacing the exact same board Craig had charged us $400 for), in very good time, and it is now running well.
  
  Don't bother calling Craig.
